The launch of Live Trivia is the latest release in the Hard Rock-Playtech partnership that has existed since 2024. Previous launches were traditional casino titles with slot and card games, and live dealer games. In April, Hard Rock announced it had expanded its agreement with Playtech to bring a live trivia game to New Jersey.
More Than Traditional iGaming Titles
Hard Rock and Playtech have highlighted how this launch proves the two brands' commitment to innovation and new and exciting games for players. Jonathan Doubliet, Playtech's VP of US Business Operations, said: "We are proud to celebrate this milestone with the launch of our Live Trivia Game Show on the Hard Rock Bet platform, bringing a new level of entertainment to their players."
Hard Rock's Senior Vice President of Casino, Grant Williams, said, "We're thrilled to be the first in New Jersey to offer Playtech's Live Trivia Game Show, and continue to elevate the player experience with cutting-edge, innovative content."
With igaming growing across the US, brands have been forced to innovate to grow their player base. Offering new games outside traditional casino games is one way to do so. As Doubliet points out: "Looking ahead, the future of iGaming lies in creating seamless, immersive experiences that integrate with broader digital entertainment ecosystems. The industry must adapt to evolving preferences by expanding digital channels, enhancing interactivity, and balancing novelty with familiarity."
Hard Rock Live Trivia Schedule
This new Live Trivia game is scheduled to run on Wednesdays at 8:00 pm ET. The next game will take place on May 21st at 8:00 pm ET with a Memorial Day theme. A week later, on May 28th at 8:00 pm ET, the theme will be "Summertime at the Shore".
To access this new Live Trivia game, to your Hard Rock Bet and select "Live Dealer". Live Trivia will only appear 24 hours before the start of each session. There is no buy-in required to play.
Hard Rock Live Trivia Format
Players must answer 10 questions posted on screen and read by a live dealer each night. Once the question is posted, players will have seven seconds to select their answer. Players who correctly answer seven of 10 questions will earn an equal share of the prize pool.
For example, the prize pool for May 21 is $5,000, so if 100 players answer seven correct questions, each player will receive $50.
