Same-Game Parlay Leg No. 1: New York Knicks ML

Let's make this crystal clear right out of the gates: The Pacers should win Game 6 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse coming off a 111-94 loss on Thursday which was unquestionably the team's worst performance of the series thus far. The last thing they should want is for their to be a winner-take-all matchup on the road with a spot in the Finals on the line, even though Indiana managed to prevail in a Game 7 last year at Madison Square Garden, albeit in the second round.

There have been 297 instances in which a team has held a 3-1 series lead in the playoffs, and the side trailing managed to come back and prevail only 13 times, which equates to just 4.4 percent. Of those 297 times, however, 36 ended up going to a Game 7, so there's at least a limited history of teams being in a hole and clawing their way out to some degree. New York is deservedly the betting underdog, but perhaps its figured out a formula for success by slowing down Indiana's pace of play and keeping turnovers to a minimum.

Same-Game Parlay Leg No. 2: Jalen Brunson UNDER 6.5 Assists

As mentioned in my player prop expert picks for Game 6, superstar point guard Jalen Brunson is averaging just 3.5 assists through five games versus the Pacers and has fallen UNDER 6.5 dimes in each of his last three outings and six of his last seven dating back to the series with the Boston Celtics.

He's certainly more than capable of racking up seven or more assists, evident by the five he ed in Game 5 with 11 total potential assists. The Knicks need him to be more of a scorer, though, especially if Indiana gets its act together and returns to a speed more befitting of its offense.

Same-Game Parlay Leg No. 3: Tyrese Haliburton OVER 4.5 Rebounds

Perhaps no player on either roster will be facing more pressure in Game 6 than Tyrese Haliburton, who fizzled out in Game 5 (like most players on the Pacers, mind you) with a box score of eight points, two rebounds, six assists, and zero makes from distance with a chance of cementing the franchise's first Finals spot since 2000 on the line.

As I also wrote about in the aforementioned player prop expert picks, rebounding is more so an effort stat than anything else. Look at Josh Hart, for example, whose tallied double-digit boards in each of the last three games as a 6-foot-4 guard coming off the bench. Haliburton actually leads Indiana in rebounding across the two home games at eight per contest, and has yet to go UNDER this number consecutively throughout the postseason.
