UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs Figueiredo Betting Handles & Trends

Cory Sandhagen meets Deiveson Figueiredo in a compelling bantamweight clash on May 3, and BetMGM has released its latest betting trends ahead of UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs Figueiredo. With a handful of veteran names and a few rising stars, it’s no surprise which fights are drawing the public’s attention.

According to Personally, I see Sandhagen putting on a clinic, but I’ll break down all the notable betting handles and props below.

UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs Figueiredo Betting Handles

Starting at the top, the Sandhagen vs Figueiredo fight tells a clear story — nobody’s giving “The Sandman” much love. Despite being a -600 favorite, Sandhagen has just 19% of bets and 25% of the handle. Figueiredo, the former flyweight champ, is pulling a massive 81% of bets and 75% of the handle at +425.

And then there’s the wildest stat of the night: 95% of tickets and 99% of the money are on Jeremy Stephens at +425. That’s not a typo — “Lil’ Heathen” is the most bet fighter on the card, despite his status as a growing underdog.

UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs Figueiredo Most bet Fights (Tickets)

  1. Reinier de Ridder (NED) - Bo Nickal (USA)

  2. Cory Sandhagen (USA) - Deiveson Figueiredo (BRA)

  3. Santiago Ponzinibbio (ARG) - Daniel Rodriguez (USA)

  4. Yana Santos (RUS) - Miesha Tate (USA)

  5. Jeremy Stephens (USA) - Mason Jones (WAL)

UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs Figueiredo Most bet Props (Tickets)

  1. Reinier de Ridder (NED) by Submission +750

  2. Bo Nickal (USA) to win by KO/TKO in Rounds 1 or 3 +950

  3. Jeremy Stephens (USA) by KO/TKO or DQ +800

  4. Cory Sandhagen (USA) by KO/TKO or DQ +300

  5. Bo Nickal (USA) to win by submission in UNDER 1.5 rounds +2500

As always, bettors are getting wild with props. The idea of de Ridder tapping Nickal is a fun narrative at +750, but Nickal’s wrestling pedigree makes that highly unlikely. If anything, Nickal by early finish feels more logical, especially at +950 or the ultra-specific +2500 sub under 1.5 rounds.

As for Sandhagen, I don’t think he finishes Figueiredo, but the public is betting otherwise. And Jeremy Stephens by KO? Sure, the value’s at +800, but don’t mortgage the house.

I’ll be playing Sandhagen by decision and possibly a Nickal R1 finish. But as usual, don’t chase the 2500-to-1 miracle.
