Bryce Harper OVER 0.5 RBIs (-130 at Sportsbook)
I searched around for a method to play Harper and settled on RBIs. He's been so hot lately (1.347 OPS in last six games) that a lot of books have priced him out of my range, especially in a favorable matchup vs the Rockies. Ultimately, I feel like -130 for an RBI is good value.
As I said, Harper's been red-hot lately, batting .542 with 13 hits and eight RBIs in his last six contests. He'll now enjoy a tasty matchup against Rox starter German Marquez, against whom Harper is 6-for-21 lifetime. Even if Harper doesn't break Marquez, he'll find good luck against a Rockies bullpen with a 6.71 ERA in its last two weeks.
Cody Bellinger OVER 0.5 Total Bases (-185 at Sportsbook)
Bellinger is rocking. He's picked up a hit in 15 straight games, so I'll gladly drop a unit on him to continue this hot spell. Bellinger had five total bases in yesterday's contest vs Texas, and now he'll face Nathan Eovaldi Thursday. Bellinger is 2-for-5 lifetime vs Eovaldi, meaning he has a strong gameplan for the righty.
The price won't get you jumping out of your seat, but Bellinger is as sure a bet as anyone in the Majors right now.
