Cody Bellinger OVER 1.5 Total Bases (+125 at Sportsbook)
Bellinger's OVER is priced fairly here, but this matchup has me willing to take the risk. I'll start by noting Bellinger has cashed this OVER in six straight games and eight of his last 10 contests. He's dialed in, and now the Yanks outfielder faces Rangers lefty Patrick Corbin.
Bellinger and Corbin have a history. Despite the lefty-lefty matchup, Bellinger is 6-for-12 lifetime vs Corbin with six singles. Now, he'll need two total bases Tuesday, but that won't be a problem. Bellinger has picked up a double or a homer in five straight. Given his predisposition vs Corbin, this bet is set to cash.
Pete Alonso to hit a home run (+390 at Sportsbook)
I teased this concept in my NRFI picks today involving Walker Buehler. The Mets slug Buehler well (.507), and Alonso is the best of the bunch with a 1.305 OPS lifetime vs the Red Sox starter. Alonso is 5-for-16 vs Buehler with four homers. I'll bet he enters Tuesday with some confidence, especially with Buehler returning from the IL.
If there's one obstacle, it's that Alonso has homered just three times in his last 20 games. Power hitters go through slumps, so I'm not too concerned. Plus, the +390 value for a power hitter of Alonso's caliber in this matchup is great value.
